We offer 1 Postdoc positions as part of the National Science Center (NCN) OPUS project

We offer 2 Postdoc positions as part of the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) TEAM project

The position is offered for 3 years, including an initial 1 year probation period.
Start date: October - December 2017 or as soon thereafter as possible, with possible extension.
 
Requirements:

1.  PhD degree (or equivalent) in one of life sciences disciplines, obtained less then 7 years before employment (NCN) or 5 years before employment for TEAM project, subject to maternity and medical extension.
2.  Candidates who would defend their PhD thesis shortly after the application deadline, maybe eligible to apply
3.  Outstanding publication record
4.  High motivation (demonstrated via joint publications, references of the candidate's thesis tutor, previous post-doctoral positions different from the PhD awarding institutions),
5.  Proficiency in English
6.  Experience in working with plants and/or in RNA/chromatin field is highly desired

We reserve the right to contact only selected candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to give a short seminar describing their scientific achievements. The seminar will be open to members of the institute and invited guests. This will be followed by a formal interview with the candidates. Funding: 15000 PLN/month for TEAM project and 7000 PLN/month for NCN, subject to income tax.
